LEAVENWORTH — Gracie Close’s earth-and-equality focused vision for her 320 acres in Sunitsch Canyon will include an assisted-living home for adults with developmental disabilities within about a year. Tierra Village will break ground Sunday on the first of what could be as many as six residential cottages on the land it leases from Sunitsch Canyon LLC, a company controlled by Close.
